Knichel Logistics is proud to announce that we have earned enough votes from the industry to be named a "Top Company for Women to Work for in Transportation" by Redefining the Road magazine and Women In Trucking Association. Nearly 150 nominations were received by the Redefining the Road editorial staff - and more than 7,000 votes were cast to identify the top 50 companies to be named to this list.
Per CEO Kristy Knichel, "As a woman owned business, this honor is particularly special. Recognizing the work that women do in the transportation industry is so important, and I want to thank Women in Trucking for giving us a platform."
According to Brian Everett, publisher of Redefining the Road, there are five key features that distinguish companies recognized on this list: corporate cultures that foster gender diversity; competitive compensation and benefits; flexible hours and work requirements; professional development opportunities; and career advancement opportunities.
