TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Rates are subject to change where actual shipment parameters differ from those quoted.
2. Rates are based on details given and suggested freight class (if not given). If the freight is re-classified or reweighed and the rate increases, documentation must be provided to support the original classification.
3. Liability coverage is subject to carrier’s rules tariff and differs for new and used items. Additional insurance may be purchased if needed.
4. Pickup and delivery schedules are not guaranteed, but represent acceptable industry standards.
5. Quotes are based on current availability and are valid for 1 day from date of issue.
6. Additional fees may apply for shipments with special pick up or delivery requirements (i.e. appointments, lift gates, etc.) and must be noted at on quote request.
7. Unless otherwise indicated, LTL transit times are estimated and not guaranteed. If a guarantee is needed, it must be advised beforehand.
8. Knichel Logistics will not be held liable/responsible for any late fees incurred on pickup or delivery of LTL/Partial/Volume/Temp control shipments.
9. If our BOL or billing/quote information is not used on BOL given to driver at time of pickup, rates are subject to change and correction fees will apply.
10. If freight is not tendered at the time of carrier pickup, shipment will be subject to a truck order not used.
