On May 27th, the annual Knichel Logistics Female Positive Athlete scholarship award was presented to Keely Lisco, a Seneca Valley senior lacrosse player.
Keely's Accomplishments:
• 3-year varsity letter winner in girls lacrosse.
• Team captain as a senior in 2020.
• Team defensive player of the year as a junior in 2019.
• Team rookie of the year as a sophomore in 2018.
• 4.65 GPA.
• Volunteers at "A Night to Remember" which is a prom for students with special abilities.
• An award-winning artist.
• Member of Art Club and Pottery Club.
Per Kristy Knichel: As a 1995 Seneca Valley graduate, I am honored to be able to give back to my local community and high school every year for the Knichel Logistics Female Positive Athlete Award. This award ensures that there is equality in sports for women. It is extremely important to me that we acknowledge students that are staying positive in not so positive situations, not only in sports, but also in work and daily life. I am very honored to give this award to Keely Lisco. She has shown great strength and positivity within her athletics and academics at Seneca Valley. Please keep up the great work and positive attitude. We need more people like you in this world! Congratulations!
