As of April 25th, 2022, Synergy Freight Solutions merged with Knichel Logistics Inc. to become Knichel Logistics – Detroit Branch. The owner and CEO of Synergy Freight Solutions, Natasha Erickson, will not only be staying on to continue to lead Knichel Logistics - Detroit Branch, but will also be joining the Knichel Logistics leadership team as Executive Vice President of Business Development. All current Synergy employees will be staying on and will be Knichel Logistics – Detroit Branch employees.
As women-owned companies, the decision to merge was made to establish a mutually beneficial relationship. This relationship will provide additional resources and services to Synergy Freight Solutions customers while also providing Knichel Logistics leadership with another female logistics entrepreneur’s expertise. In addition to continuing to provide a full suite of LTL and truck brokerage services, Knichel Logistics – Detroit Branch (formerly Synergy Freight Solutions) will also now provide expanded services, including intermodal and specialized services, and will be utilizing best in class technology to continue to offer its customers best in class transportation solutions and a differentiated customer experience.
